This Product EOS Announcement is intended to provide you with notice that one of our product series has entered the final phase of the product support cycle. The InBody370 was last manufactured in 2017 and officially discontinued at the end of 2017. We have been providing technical support and service for the InBody370 for the past 6 years while these products were in the final stages of the End of Support Cycle (EOS). However, 2023 will be the final year of support for the InBody370 and starting 01/01/2024, support and services will no longer be available for the InBody370.

Support and services include but are not limited to the following:

• General product support and services

• Technical Support

• Repair Services

• Spare parts

• Live product troubleshooting assistance

• Logo Support

• Maintenance Services

• Product Accessory Support

InBody will continue to support and service the InBody370 throughout 2023 until 12/31/2023. Result sheets and other minor accessories may still be available after 01/01/2024.

Trade in and Upgrades:

InBody understands how integral our products can be to our customer’s overall operation. Newer technology provides more productivity and greater efficiency in the same or similar applications as these older products. There has been a Google security setting update for all users who utilize the Gmail service for LookinBody. Google will be removing the Less Secure Apps functionality on May 30, 2022. For more information please visit this link.   

When does this go into effect?  

Based on the information provided by Google, this update will go into effect on May 30, 2022. For more information, we recommend reaching out to Google Support.   

 What InBody services/app will be affected?  

• LookinBody 120   

• LookinBody Web  

How will this affect your LookinBody 120 or LookinBody Web Account?  

For users who are using their Gmail account to send emails to clients from the LookinBody 120 or LookinBody Web service, the Gmail account security settings will need to be updated to continue using the Gmail account.    

For users of the LookinBody 120, the LookinBody 120 program version may also need to be updated to be compatible.  

If the settings are not updated by May 30, 2022, sending emails from the LookinBody service may fail.

Dear InBody Clients,

As you know, our professional-grade body composition analyzer provides users with the ability to measure and track a variety of body composition metrics, including fat mass, lean body mass, water retention, and, in certain models, Visceral Fat Levels (“VFL”).

Visceral Fat is fat that accumulates around our organs; clinical research conducted by third-party researchers has shown that Visceral Fat can lead to serious health complications. In order to help InBody users measure and track VFL, InBody developed specific algorithms to include VFL as a metric represented on the InBody Result Sheets and measured by its advanced model body composition analyzers.

Up until now, VFL results had been limited to “20”, which represents 200 square centimeters of Visceral Fat accumulation. However, due to numerous client requests and inquiries, InBody has updated its software, allowing new and refurbished InBody professional-grade body composition analyzers to show VFL, past 200 square centimeters, without limitation.
